Jaromír Bosák remembers the matches that fundamentally influenced his life. He watched many of them as a fan, others as a television commentator. It starts with the World Cup in 1974, and through the famous Belgrade Championship (with an even more famous penalty by Antonín Panenka) and big matches of Czech clubs, there will be the 1990 World Championship in Italy with Czechoslovak participation or the silver European Championship in 1996 in England.
The first part ends the great pilgrimage of the Czech team with Nedvěd, Poborský, Koller, Baroš and Rosicky to Euro 2004 in Portugal. At the same time, the book does not only tell about the events on the field, but also describes the behind-the-scenes commentary work and the social and sporting conditions in which the matches took place
