Special reissue of Karl Gott's first album! Although it was actually a combination of stylistically diverse single recordings from 1964 and 1965, this album is nevertheless an important musical record of the time and the first phase of Gott's brilliant career. Fourteen compositions depict the singer in the period of cooperation, mainly with large orchestras (Karel Vlach, TOČR), the one-time exception is the help of Olympik with the Beatles' Unknown Addressee.< /p>

The repertoire is made up to a large extent of world inspirations, but domestic contributions are also extremely valuable, led by traffic light echoes (Oči snejem zavaté), but also compositions by proven authors Jiří Bažant or Alfonso Jindra.

Remastered sound, reconstructed cover and documentary sleeve-note make the reissue of Gott's first album an attractive reminder of the mid-sixties. Exquisite songs, big band accompaniment and evidence of brilliant talent will still captivate more than 50 years after the original release
