Jitka Šuranská, Irén Lovasz and Michal Elia Kamal, three unmistakable singers who were brought together by the original project of the Folk holiday festival in Náměšt nad Oslavou. The new album is a record of the meeting and joint concert performance of three stellar ensembles from different countries. The cosmopolitan group Light In Babylon with Israeli singer of Iranian origin Michal Elia Kamal, Hungarian singer Irén Lovász, Prague international ensemble Shum Davar and mandolin player Martin Krajíček found themselves on stage together next to the initiator of the whole project, violinist Jitka Šuranská. This project is a good example of the enormous power of music and demonstrates that music is an experience of unlimited cultural, linguistic and political freedom. In terms of musical genres, it is crossing the boundaries between local / global, traditional / postmodern, a crossover of Moravian, Hungarian and Hebrew folk songs.
