Only she understands everything, only she knows what is good for everyone. In this way, however, she goes from misfortune to misfortune and often makes a big mess even for those whom she sincerely wanted to help. But because she does not lack a good heart, she will wise up over time and understand where to look for the true values ​​in life. The novel (in its film version Emma was portrayed by the popular Gwyneth Paltrow) has recently experienced a new wave of reader interest. Is it perhaps that today's women recognize in his heroine the predecessor of their efforts for social recognition of their abilities - and also the pitfalls they should avoid in the process? Or is it simply the case that the virtues and nobility of a bygone era still speak very clearly to us in the presentation of a wonderful author such as Jane Austen?
