The comedy Ecce homo Homolka is the first part of the famous free trilogy of screenwriter and director Jaroslav Papoušek. The story of the film is taken, as in the case of all the works of the creative collective Forman - Papoušek - Passer, directly from life... Spouses Ludva and Heduš Homolk live with their twin boys and Ludva's parents in a Prague apartment. On Sunday, everyone goes on a trip to nature together to enjoy the healthy air. The sovereign grandfather, the caring but uncompromising grandmother, the rather downtrodden Ludva with the disgruntled Heduš and the inquisitive twins cannot enjoy themselves much. The whole day is a bundle of petty disputes and quarrels, which seem to be an inherent part of their lives...
