Berlin, 1941. Apprentice printer Felix Thalberg has to deal with a difficult situation. His beloved city is being transformed under Nazi rule, and things aren't any better at home - Felix's father has stopped leaving the house because he refuses to wear the yellow star, and his mother is getting thinner every day.

One evening in a crowded dance hall, he meets a mysterious young woman who changes his life once and for all. Hana is a breath of fresh air to his gloomy and stagnant life, and Felix immediately falls in love with her. But when he tries to find her again, he finds no trace of her. Hana imprisoned by the Gestapo? Or did something even worse happen to her?

Felix subsequently finds himself in the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, but he only thinks about keeping Hana safe. Dr. then comes to the camp for a visit. Max Eichel - a Nazi doctor with sadistic tendencies - together with his beautiful wife. Felix can't believe his eyes again. In the window of the infirmary, completely inexplicably, he sees the same girl he met that fateful night... And SS officer Eichel holds her wrist with deadly calm.
