Berlin, 1941. Apprentice printer Felix Thalberg has to deal with a difficult situation. His beloved city is being transformed under Nazi rule, and things aren't any better at home - Felix's father has stopped leaving the house because he refuses to wear the yellow star, and his mother is getting thinner every day.
One evening in a crowded dance hall, he meets a mysterious young woman who changes his life once and for all.
