THE COAST OF THE FAROE ISLANDS IS TROUBLED AGAIN... A group of anti-whaling activists is coming to the Faroe Islands, and the tension between local residents and protesters could be eased. In addition, a woman's body is discovered just a few hours after one particularly sharp fight, and the circumstances of the murder indicate that someone is trying to deepen the gap between the two camps even more. Police officer Hjalti Hentze starts an investigation, but the situation soon becomes significantly more complicated, because suspicion falls on his son-in-law. It looks like there are other, more sinister motives behind the murder, and a key piece of evidence is missing. Meanwhile, British inspector Jan Reyna tries to find out more about his mother's past, but like Hentze, he runs into one obstacle after another. Neither of them know who they can trust or how far some people are capable of going in the name of their beliefs...
